Youll help build and improve Gallagher Re s financial modelling platform. It uses Java, JEE, Postgres, and Azure. Youll work with colleagues in Mumbai, Bangalore, Ipswich, and London, so clear communication matters. Role Overview

Youll work across the full development cycle, from building new features to supporting live systems. Youll write clean code, check it against the agreed design, and help keep the platform secure, stable, and fast. Youll also work with backend colleagues on APIs and data flow, join code reviews, and help solve production issues. When needed, youll support end users and look at better ways to build, test, deploy, and maintain the product.

Requirements

- You can build web apps using Angular 16+.
- You know TypeScript and contemporary JavaScript.
- You ve used NgRx signals, or a similar state management approach.
- You can work with Angular Material and SCSS.
- You can write and support code in Java or JEE.
- You can work with Postgres and understand how data moves through a system.
- You can integrate APIs and spot issues early.
- You can explain your thinking clearly in writing and in meetings.
- You re comfortable working with light direction and across locations.

Qualifications

- University Degree and 3 to 5 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 60% throughout academics - no gaps.
- A degree in computer science, IT, or a related subject can help, but we ll also consider relevant hands-on experience.
