ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a seasoned Team Leader Third-Party Inspection (Metro Rail) to lead inspection operations and ensure stringent quality, process compliance and customer requirements across metro rail component manufacturing.

This is a senior role for an experienced professional who can combine third-party inspection leadership, manufacturing-process knowledge, quality control and stakeholder management in a demanding metro rail environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Inspection Management

- Lead the third-party inspection team and manage day-to-day inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and inspection plans.

Manufacturing & Special Process Expertise

- Oversee manufacturing processes for metro rail components.
- Strong exposure to critical special processes such as welding, painting and gluing.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Drive quality assurance and inspection standards.
- Manage Non-Conformity (NC) reports, corrective actions and preventive actions.

Inspection & Testing

- Supervise incoming, in-process and final inspection, checks and testing.




- Ensure inspection results are properly documented and aligned with customer requirements.

Customer & Manufacturer Coordination

- Translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing and inspection controls.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, customers and project stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

MANDATORY SKILL SETS

- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully completing minimum 2 major Metro Rail projects.
- Strong experience in Third-Party Inspection / Quality Inspection in Metro Rail or Railway manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing quality, inspection and testing processes.
- Hands-on exposure to welding, painting and gluing as special processes.
- Solid capability in NC management, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA).
- Ability to lead inspection teams and manage customer/manufacturer interfaces.

Preferred:

- NDT Level II
- CSWIP
- Special Process Expert / Specialist experience
