Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Radiologist.As a Radiologist at NursingHome, hewill work with other talented physicians at Radiology department.Get images and interpret hem using Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans (MRIs) and Computer Tomography (CT) scans.Communicate and discuss test results with other physicians.Discuss results with family members if appropriate.Conduct procedures such as transhepatic biliary drainage, catheter placement,
and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty.Work with lab technicians to guarantee image qualityAsk for advice from other radiologists and other specialists.Follow protocol for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations.Instruct patients about how images are taken.Discuss different options with patients.The most common tool a radiologist uses is the X-ray. An X-ray is an image taken by using a machine to beam radiation through a patients body onto a radiation-sensitive plate after carefully covering other portions of the patients body with lead shields. Radiologists normally employ radiological technicians to do the actual X-ray photography, but they are trained in the photography process as well.
