We re looking for Manager with expertise in GBS/SSC Setup assignments, GBS assessment benchmark strategy definition, Process Assessment done for Finance and Accounting, Banking, or Supply Chain domain to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. - Partners with the team to deliver amazing work during the engagement while balancing overall project health.
- Actively reviews and explore opportunities to improve, optimize and enhance ways of working.
- Provide innovative and customer focused RFP and RFI responses. Provide suitable customer focused solutions which will enable EY win deals.
- Provides status communications to project and business teams.
- Practice development (support and participate in activities such as internal training development, recruitment, etc.)
- Own and develop our offerings and assets, create accelerators and work on new capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely; ability to prepare presentations for senior-level client stakeholders.
- Undertaking sales origination, including working with client teams to identify opportunities.
- Leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings.
- Bring in AI knowledge that can be leveraged in GBS

Your key responsibilities

- Knowledge of Finance domain and FS sector and preferably a large network in this field
- Experience in GBS set up activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, Location assessment, Business case creation, Target Model design, etc.




- Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements. Know-how of the Business Transition assignments and related activities
- Participated in proposals, solutions and RFP / RFI responses related to our offerings and take them successfully to clients
- Should be available to work on client timings as we have global client base
- Experience / knowledge around finance functions or other sectors like Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, Supply Chain
- This includes experience around Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
- Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements
- Should have knowledge of activities in financial close of an organisation for month / Quarter / Annual close periods
- Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)

Good to have experience / exposure (the below skills are an added advantage for candidates):

- Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
- Managing / supervising teams of people on project work
- Open to travel (Domestic International)

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Commerce Graduates or MBA (Finance)
- Other professional degrees (like CPA, CFA, CMA) can be considered based on relevant working experience as required.
- 10+ years of work experience in Business Transition / GBS / SSC setup activities
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must
