Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, highly skilled, and student-centric Career & Education Counsellor to guide our students for campus placements. In this role, you will act as a dedicated coach who works hands-on with students to build their professional portfolios, map out career strategies, and prepare for competitive recruitment processes. You will serve as the strategic bridge connecting students, faculty, recruiters, alumni, and senior leadership to ensure optimal employment and higher education outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-On Career Coaching & Profile Building

- Resume & CV Mastery: Conduct intensive workshops and one-on-one sessions to help students write compelling, industry-standard CVs and tailored cover letters.
- LinkedIn Profile Optimization: Guide students in building impactful, skilled LinkedIn profiles, teaching them digital networking strategies and personal branding.
- Student Profiling: Execute comprehensive student profiling to map individual strengths, technical skills, interests, and corporate aspirations into a clear career readiness matrix.
- Company-Specific Mentorship: Deeply counsel students on target corporate profiles and design personalized preparation roadmaps for interviews, aptitude rounds, and technical tests.

2. Stakeholder Integration & Relationship Management





- Primary Institutional Interface: Serve as the central point of contact between students, faculty members, corporate recruiters, active alumni networks, and the universitys senior leadership team.
- Recruitment Outcome Enhancement: Actively build and sustain deep relationships with internal academic departments and external placement team to scale recruitment pipelines, internships, and placement success.

3. Comprehensive Placement Readiness & Counselling

- Interview Preps & Mock Drives: Organize and execute systematic mock interviews, group discussion simulations, and feedback loops to polish student delivery and confidence.
- Career Pathway Guidance: Offer holistic advice covering diverse options including corporate jobs, specialized domestic/international higher education, competitive exams, or startup pathways.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in career coaching, university relations, or corporate relations within higher education or ed-tech ecosystems
- Interpersonal Strength: Powerful active listening skills, empathy, and the ability to hold high-stakes conversations with leaders and senior university management.
