Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive primary sales and business growth across Upper Assam. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the TMT / Cement industry, with a proven track record in primary sales, distributor/dealer management, market expansion, and achievement of sales targets.

Candidates currently working as Area Sales Manager / RSM / equivalent senior sales positions with Assam-based cement companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary sales across the assigned territory in Upper Assam.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, stockists, and channel partners.
- Ensure effective product availability and market coverage across the assigned territory.
- Identify new dealers/distributors and expand the company s distribution network.
- Monitor market demand, competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure timely achievement of primary sales targets and business objectives.
- Track sales performance and prepare regular MIS and sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order management, dispatches, inventory, and customer requirements.
- Lead and guide the sales team/channel network to improve market penetration and revenue.




- Maintain strong relationships with key market stakeholders and channel partners.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements and identify new business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience in the TMT / Cement industry.
- Strong experience in Primary Sales and Channel Sales.
- Candidates currently or recently working with Assam-based cement companies will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Upper Assam market and local dealer/distributor network.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Strong dealer/distributor management and negotiation skills.
- Positive understanding of competitor activity and regional market dynamics.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and relationship-management skills.

Education

- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
