Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop websites, reusable components, templates, content fragments, and experience fragments using AEM Sites.
- Configure and extend AEM Assets capabilities, including metadata schemas, workflows, renditions, asset processing, and search.
- Develop backend services and integrations using Java, Sling Models, OSGi services, Servlets, REST APIs, and microservice-based patterns.
- Implement authoring workflows, permissions, content governance, localization, and multisite management.
- Support AEM as a Cloud Service deployments using Cloud Manager, Git-based development, CI/CD, Dispatcher, caching, CDN, and security controls.
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud products and enterprise systems.
- Implement AI-assisted content and asset workflows using AEM generative capabilities, Adobe Firefly/Adobe Express, and AI-powered asset tagging and enrichment.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, release support, production stabilization, and technical documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Hands-on development experience with Adobe Experience Manager Sites and Assets.
- Solid understanding of AEM component and template architecture, content fragments, experience fragments, DAM workflows, metadata, and permissions.
- Working knowledge of Java, Java Servlets, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, Oak, and Maven.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and frontend integration concepts.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, Git, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, Dispatcher, caching, CDN, security, and performance optimization.
- Consulting or client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and communication of technical solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
- Understanding of generative-AI content and asset workflows, including Adobe Firefly/Express, prompt design, and responsible use and validation of AI-generated content.
