Job Title: Associate Lead Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Maraimalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu

Experience Required: 8-12 years

Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or PG Diploma

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager with strong expertise in CNC machines, CNC programming, job setting, cutting tools, jigs & fixtures and overall shopfloor engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will lead manufacturing engineering activities, drive productivity improvements, and ensure robust machining processes for highprecision components.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering function for CNC machining operations.
- Develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for turning, milling, and multiaxis machines.
- Oversee job setting, tool selection, tool life management, and machining parameter optimization.
- Design, develop, and implement jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling solutions to improve productivity and quality.
- Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, 5S).
- Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical guidance to operators and supervisors.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.




- Drive costreduction projects through process improvements and tooling optimization.
- Train and mentor CNC operators and junior engineers.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong handson experience in CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi /Delta and other PL controls).
- Expertise in job setting, cutting tool selection, tool path optimization, and machining strategies.
- Proven experience in designing jigs, fixtures, and workholding solutions.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, machining tolerances, and precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid leadership, teammanagement, and problemsolving skills.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement tools.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma or Graduate Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in CNC machining and manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, heavy engineering, or precision machining industries preferred.
- Strong shopfloor presence and ability to lead teams effectively.

Salary: Based on the skill & experience

Probation Period : 11 months
