Job Summary

The PPC (Production Planning & Control) Lead Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules aligned with customer demand, available resources, and business objectives. The role works closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure material availability and smooth manufacturing operations. The incumbent monitors production progress, inventory levels, and KPIs, drives process improvements, leads planning and material handling teams, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Regular reporting to the PPC Deputy Manager is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop production and supply plans as per customer demand.
- Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and specifications.
- Plan workflows and schedules for production departments.
- Monitor production status and ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify delays and revise schedules to meet commitments.
- Conduct production risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Communicate delays or outages to customers.
- Determine manpower, equipment,



and material requirements.
- Resolve production issues and escalate critical concerns.
- Evaluate existing processes and drive improvements.
- Support current product development and enhancements.
- Conduct daily production review meetings.
- Ensure closure of root cards with respect to production orders.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and ensure system-to-physical inventory accuracy.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / BE Mechanical or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
