Job Summary

Experienced Application Packaging Engineer with expertise in software packaging, deployment automation, patch management, and enterprise application lifecycle management. Proficient in MECM/SCCM, PowerShell scripting, MSI repackaging, and Windows platform administration, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and secure software deployment solutions in large enterprise environments. Adapt to client requirements shift hours and flexible with night shift pattern.

Responsibilities

- Create, test, and maintain software packages from ServiceNow requests, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, validate package specifications, and perform end-to-end testing.
- Develop and customize MSI packages, MSI repackaging, Suite Installers, and Merge Modules using packaging tools.
- Manage application installations, upgrades, patches (MSP), and legacy software removals.
- Create and deploy applications through MECM/SCCM, including deployment types and collections.
- Perform Patch Management and deploy Microsoft and third-party updates via WSUS and MECM.
- Develop deployment automation using PSADT, PowerShell, VBScript,



and Batch scripting.
- Troubleshoot packaging, installation, and deployment issues, ensuring successful software delivery.
- Support OS Deployment (OSD) and maintain MECM deployment configurations.
- Provide deployment and troubleshooting support for Windows Client and Server environments.
- Manage monthly server patching, security updates, and system software maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise deployment standards, security policies, and change management processes.

Certifications Required

- Application Packaging (MSI, Admin Studio, InstallShield, Wise Package Studio)
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
- PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)

Essential Qualifications

- University degree in Business or related discipline.
- Experience of more than 9 years in technology.
- Robust analytical skills.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language.
- Experience in automation and tools includes Intune, PowerShell, WMI, SQL

Shift Timings: (rotational shift)

- Shift1: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST
- Shift2: 5:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST
