Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Customs clearance operations for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with Customs, Port, CFS/ICD, shipping lines, transporters and clients.
- Handle documentation such as Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, e-Sanchit, examination, assessment and Out-of-Charge/LEO.
- Ensure timely clearance and delivery of cargo.
- Monitor duty payments, queries, amendments, RMS/examination and customs compliance.
- Resolve operational issues and coordinate with customs authorities.
- Maintain proper records and ensure compliance with Customs regulations and procedures.
- Track pending shipments and ensure minimum clearance delays and additional costs.
- Handle client communication, quotations and service-related issues
- Keep the team updated on changes in Customs regulations, notifications and procedures.

*. Applying for and managing DGFT licenses, authorizations, and other relevant documents.

*. Ensuring adherence to all relevant DGFT and other trade-related regulations.
