Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile PLC Programmer & Industrial Robot Programmer to support the design, development, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation control systems and robotic applications across manufacturing lines. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining PLC/HMI logic, robot programs, and edge device configurations, along with leveraging Python scripting for data handling, automation utilities, and integration tasks. The ideal candidate combines strong PLC and robot programming expertise with working knowledge of IIoT edge devices and Python coding to deliver robust, connected, and efficient automation solutions.

7-9+ years of hands-on experience in PLC/HMI programming and Robot programming in industrial automation.

Additional Information :
Key Responsibilities: 1. PLC & HMI Programming Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens or equivalent) to meet process, safety, and production requirements. Design and update HMI screens/applications, ensuring explicit operator interfaces and alarm/fault diagnostics. Support integration of PLC logic with MES, sensors, and other shopfloor systems. o Perform root-cause analysis, bug fixing,



and optimization of existing PLC/HMI programs.

2. Industrial Robot Programming o Develop, test, and optimize robot programs (FANUC/ABB or equivalent) for welding, material handling, assembly, or other automated processes. o Perform robot path teaching, offline programming, calibration, and tool/fixture offset configuration. o Troubleshoot robot faults, collisions, and cycle-time issues; implement corrective actions to improve throughput and reliability. o Support integration of robots with PLC/HMI control systems and safety interlocks.

3. Edge Devices & IIoT Integration o Configure and support edge devices/gateways for collecting shopfloor data from PLCs, robots, and sensors. o Set up and troubleshoot MQTT/OPC UA communication between edge devices, PLCs, and IIoT platforms (e.g., Ignition, Kepware). o Support data pipeline setup for real-time monitoring, dashboards, and analytics. o Ensure reliable and secure connectivity between OT devices and edge/cloud platforms. 6. Standards & Documentation o Follow and help maintain PLC/HMI, robot, and edge device programming/configuration standards. o Maintain version control and backups for PLC, HMI, robot programs, and Python scripts. o Prepare and update technical documentation, including I/O lists, data mapping, program change logs, and troubleshooting guides.
