Location: Based centrally, with travel across all Central Hardwares locations (Old
Showroom, New Showroom, Cement Godown, and upcoming new showroom)

Role Overview
Central Hardwares is introducing a dedicated Credit Control Executive role as part of a
broader eort to strengthen its nancial systems and processes. This position will be
responsible for managing customer credit records, driving structured follow-up on
outstanding payments, and helping build a disciplined, sustainable credit culture across
the business while carefully preserving the strong customer relationships the
company has built over the years.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who is organized, persistent, and
comfortable balancing rmness with good relationship judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and regularly update the company's outstanding receivables records
across all locations
Conduct structured follow-up (calls, messages, and in-person visits) with
customers on overdue payments, following the company's dened follow-up
process and collect the receivable dues on time.

Track and document every customer interaction, including promises to pay, in an
organized follow-up log
Prepare and share regular reports on collection performance daily, weekly, and
monthly with the Finance & Accounts Head
Coordinate with Location Managers and Sales Executives to leverage existing
customer relationships where useful for collections
Support the rollout of the company's credit policy, including credit applications
and documentation for customers
Handle sensitive, long-standing customer accounts with a relationship-rst
approach, escalating complex cases to management as needed
Flag high-risk or long-outstanding accounts for management review and decision
Candidate Requirements

13 years of experience in accounts, billing, sales, or a customer-facing role
(collections experience is an advantage but not mandatory)

Basic commerce/accounts educational background preferred
Fluent in Malayalam; working knowledge of English or Hindi is a plus for
documentation

Comfortable with phone-based follow-up as well as eld visits to customer
locations
Basic computer literacy (spreadsheets, messaging apps); willingness to learn the
company's accounting software
Strong communication skills able to be rm and clear while remaining
respectful and skilled

Patient, persistent, and detail-oriented, with good personal organization
Familiarity with the local trade/contractor community in and around Erattupetta is
an added advantage

Compensation
Fixed monthly salary, commensurate with experience, along with a performance-based
incentive linked to monthly collection targets. (Specic gures to be nalized by Central
Hardwares management before publishing the JD externally.)
