Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute SAP BW/BW/4HANA migration and upgrade activities.
- Analyze existing BW systems and prepare migration strategies and plans.
- Perform migration of BW objects, data models, transformations, data flows, and process chains.
- Work extensively with ADSO, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, InfoObjects, and Process Chains.
- Perform data extraction, data loading, reconciliation, and validation.
- Troubleshoot complex BW data load, performance, and process chain issues.
- Support integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW/4HANA, and other source systems.
- Perform pre-migration assessments and identify technical dependencies.
- Coordinate migration activities across SAP Basis, HANA/DB, functional, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Support cutover planning, execution, and post-migration stabilization.
- Conduct technical testing, defect analysis, and resolution.
- Optimize BW data models, queries, data loads, and process chains for performance.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration plans, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior BW consultants.
- Participate in client discussions, requirement analysis, status meetings, and project planning.

Required Technical Skills





- 6+ years of hands-on SAP BW experience.
- Strong experience in SAP BW on HANA and/or BW/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ADSO
- CompositeProvider
- Transformations
- DTP
- InfoObjects
- Process Chains
- Open Hub
- BW Queries

- Robust understanding of SAP HANA and SQL.
- Experience with BW data extraction from SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Good understanding of BW performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with transport management and development lifecycle.

Migration Experience

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

- SAP BW to BW/4HANA migration
- BW system migration
- BW modernization/conversion
- SAP HANA migration
- BW upgrade projects
- Data and object migration
- S/4HANA integration
- Migration assessment and remediation
- Cutover and post-migration support

Soft Skills

- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage technical deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good coordination skills across multiple technical teams.
- Ability to lead migration activities and resolve critical issues.
- Willingness to support planned weekend/after-hours migration cutovers when required.
