Solution Architect - Web & Mobile Applications
Role Summary
As our Solution Architect, you'll set the technical direction for our entire Web and Mobile Applications portfolio. This is a leadership role you won't just write code, you'll decide how all the pieces fit together, from the frontend a user sees to the cloud infrastructure behind it. You'll work directly with client stakeholders to plan delivery timelines and team capacity, while owning the technical standards that keep the whole system secure, scalable, and production-ready. A big part of this role is guiding our applications from early proof-of-concept (POC) maturity into hardened, enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the Big Picture: Define the end-to-end technical architecture across React frontends, FastAPI backends, containerized hosting, and cloud ingress how traffic securely enters our system via Azure Front Door.
- Plan With Clients: Partner directly with client stakeholders to set delivery milestones, allocate team capacity, and steer the technical roadmap.
- Lock Down Security: Oversee the security architecture, including identity management using Entra ID and MSAL (Microsoft's identity and authentication tools), and the boundaries that keep each client's (tenant's) data properly isolated from others.
- Lead Production Hardening: Guide the transition of applications from early-stage proof-of-concept builds into robust, production-ready systems covering networking, CI/CD pipelines (automated build, test, and deploy processes), and authorization (authz).




- Set the Technical Bar: Review architectural decisions, approve significant design changes, and maintain high engineering standards across the team, including offshore development partners.
- Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience in a Solution Architect role on enterprise cloud platforms.
- Tech Stack: Azure Cloud Architecture, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Containerization, Azure Front Door, WAF, Entra ID, MSAL
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure cloud architecture.
- Core Skills: Strong hands-on background with React, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
- Infrastructure: Experience with containerization packaging applications so they run consistently across environments.
- Security & Networking: Familiarity with Azure Front Door and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for securely routing and protecting web traffic.
- Identity Management: Experience with Entra ID and MSAL for identity and access management.

- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills

- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience working with offshore development partners
