- Software skill - Unigraphics NX (primary requirement), Catia V5
- To conceptualize, integrate and Design seat frames, Foam, Plastic and Trims for passenger vehicles
- Able to understand and implement customer requirements and prepare Seat design as per RFQ.
- Able to design complete seats, foam, plastic & understanding trimming as FSS from RFI/RFQ stage till SOP + life cycle.
- Should conceptualize components/mechanisms design and integrate in complete seats.
- Should be able to prepare 3D cad, 2D drawings and layout for study.
- Able to review/update DFMEA/ DFM/ DFA/ DFA/ DVP/ GD&T;
- Should have detailed know how of Homologation/Regulations and testing methods for AIS, ECE etc.
- Know-how detailed SEAT engineering techniques, design guidelines and rules
Preferred candidate profile
- BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production or related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience in UGNX (NX)/CATIA V5
- Experience in Automotive Complete Seating design and development.
- Strong experience in designing Seat Frame, Foam, Plastic, Trims and related seating components.
- Valuable knowledge of 3D modeling, 2D detailing, assembly design and GD&T;.
- Understanding of automotive seating integration, and vehicle interfaces.
- Experience working from RFI/RFQ through development up to SOP will be preferred.
