Purpose/Objective

The role is responsible for IT Infrastructure Management and Governance at Mundra Port – including Multiple Data Centers, Disaster Recovery Drills & IT Infrastructure Monitoring to ensure 24x7 availability of infrastructure and applications at Mundra & Tuna Port, applications such as TOS, Traffic and Logistics Management.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- IT Infrastructure Management and Governance- Manage and maintain Physical hardware and virtual systems to ensure 24x7 uptime and performance of IT Applications at Mundra port DC & DR governance of Server health checks, Timely renewal of AMCs and Resource planning.
- Governance of Infrastructure maintenance to ensure the processes are adhered, for example- health checks, Patching, Backup recovery, health checks, Timely renewal of AMCs, Trouble shooting and manage replacement of faulty parts - Critical Incident Management by ensuring all required teams are engaged for critical issue resolution to ensure 99.
7 Uptime of the applications and IT Infrastructure.
- Governance of Asset tracking for Mundra IT Operations following the organization process.




- Execution of Disaster Recovery Drills to restore technology after disruption.
- Network and cabling management- laying, labelling according to facility standards - Support Cyber security teams to ensure cyber security requirements are promptly addressed.
- Support IT Organisation in preparation of reports for Daily, Weekly and Monthly meetings.
- Support IT Organisation in Audits and other regulatory topics.
- Support Business teams in vendor engagement for recent solutions and conducting POC.

IT Infrastructure – Data Centers, Servers, Racks, Virtualization, Patching etc.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering, preferably Computer Science, ECE or equivalent Total Experience 8-12 years of experience in Data Center Management with knowledge of Smart Racks, Storage, Servers, Virtualization, Switches, Routers, etc.
