We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have experience working with corporates, CSR projects, or implementation organizations involved in CSR initiatives and should be capable of managing end-to-end finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare and monitor project and organizational budgets.
• Handle stakeholder management and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare Utilization Certificates (UCs) and ensure compliance with donor/client requirements.
• Develop and present Monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards.
• Monitor and manage cost flow, fund utilization, and financial controls. • Ensure accurate financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Take ownership of internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations, policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
• 35 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Prior experience in a Corporate environment, CSR Finance, or CSR Implementation Organization is preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, MIS reporting, utilization certificates, and audit processes.
• Experience in stakeholder management and financial compliance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
• CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.
• Additional certifications in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage.
