Purpose/Objective

The Graduate Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) will support the planning, execution, monitoring, and commissioning of mechanical systems associated with ongoing projects.
The role offers hands-on exposure to project engineering, installation, quality assurance, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and project management practices while working closely with experienced project professionals.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities Project Execution - Assist in execution of mechanical project activities as per approved project schedules.
- Support installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and track project progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for timely completion of work.
Engineering & Technical Support - Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Support preparation of technical documents, reports, and project records.
- Participate in equipment inspections, testing activities, and quality checks.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during execution and commissioning phases.
Quality & Safety Compliance - Ensure compliance with project quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, statutory requirements, and organizational HSE policies.
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessment activities.




- Report unsafe conditions and support implementation of corrective actions.
Project Monitoring & Reporting - Maintain progress reports, project trackers, and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement and stores teams.
- Support cost control and resource optimization initiatives.
Continuous Learning - Develop technical knowledge of mechanical equipment and project management processes.
- Participate in training programs and cross-functional assignments.
- Gain understanding of industry standards, operating procedures, and best practices.

Technical Competencies

• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
,• Understanding of pumps, compressors, piping systems, rotating equipment, HVAC, and utility systems.
,• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
,• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office applications.
,• Basic understanding of project management concepts

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.
E.
/B.
Tech).
- Fresh graduates from recognized universities/institutes.
- Consistent academic record preferred.
Experience - 0 to 1 year of experience.
- Internship or project exposure in industrial, power, infrastructure, manufacturing, EPC, or construction projects will be an added advantage.
