Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager – Civil & Structural to
lead and manage civil and structural design activities across multiple
projects. The candidate will be responsible for design planning, technical
coordination, design review, quality control, and ensuring that all engineering
deliverables are completed within project timelines and in compliance with
applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
**
**1- Lead and manage the Civil & Structural Design team and allocate
design activities based on project requirements.

2- Review and approve civil and structural design drawings, calculations,
specifications, and technical documents.

3- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, project management, site execution, and
other engineering teams to resolve design-related issues.

4- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, constructible, and aligned
with project requirements.

5- Monitor design deliverables and ensure timely completion as per project
schedules.

6- Review structural analysis and design calculations for RCC, steel
structures, foundations, industrial structures, and other civil/structural
works.

7- Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, NBC, project specifications, and




relevant international standards wherever required.

8- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and other
stakeholders on technical matters.

9- Identify design clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues and
ensure timely resolution.

10 - Review and manage RFI, design changes, technical queries, and drawing
revisions.

11- Provide technical support to the site team during execution and resolve
construction-related design issues.

12- Conduct design review meetings and coordinate with internal and external
stakeholders.

13- Ensure proper documentation, revision control, and maintenance of design
records.

14- Monitor design quality and implement appropriate quality-control
procedures.

15- Support project teams in value engineering, cost optimization, and material
optimization.

16- Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and structural detailing
wherever applicable.

17- Mentor and develop junior and senior design engineers within the team.

18 - Prepare and monitor design schedules, manpower requirements, and project
priorities.

19- Identify potential technical risks and provide appropriate engineering
solutions.

20- Ensure all designs and deliverables meet required quality, safety,
statutory, and client standards.
