Role & responsibilities

You will work directly with the Founder on PaxHub, RegSurances proprietary regulatory compliance platform. This is a broad full-stack development role combining application development with cloud infrastructure and platform operations.

Application Development

- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js / Express with a PostgreSQL database.
- Develop front-end screens, forms, tables and reporting views using React (Vite).
- Design and evolve database schemas and SQL queries as the platform grows.
- Investigate and resolve bugs reported by internal teams and clients, identifying and fixing the root cause.
- Write tests and verify changes before deployment.
- Develop new PaxHub functionality based on business and regulatory requirements.

Infrastructure & DevOps

- Manage and improve cloud deployment on Microsoft Azure, including builds, releases and rollbacks.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, setting configuration and secrets management.
- Monitor application availability, performance, logs and backups.
- Troubleshoot and respond to production issues.
- Support security hardening, patching, access management and audit trails.
- Support RegSurances ISO 27001-aligned information security controls.

Preferred candidate profile

- 1–4 years of experience developing web applications, or strong demonstrable project experience.




- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, React and SQL.
- Experience working with relational databases; PostgreSQL exposure preferred.
- Comfortable using Git and command-line tools.
- Some exposure to cloud infrastructure, Docker/containers or CI/CD.
- Willingness to take ownership of both application development and platform operations.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying root causes.
- Clear written English and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team.

Helpful but not mandatory: Experience with Azure, Docker, PostgreSQL performance/tuning, application security, ISO 27001, or software development in a regulated/compliance-driven environment.

About the role

RegSurance is a small team where developers receive direct ownership and responsibility. You will work closely with the Founder and have visibility across the complete product lifecycle — from feature development and database design through deployment, monitoring and security.
