Your Role and Responsibilities:

As an Application Consultant for Cloud Migration, you will play a key client-facing leadership role in developing and delivering cloud migration solutions. You will lead the development of migration platform solutions for hybrid-cloud environments, including IBM Cloud Private and IBM Cloud Platform, based on client priorities and business benefits.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Lead Migration Solution Development: Lead the development of migration solutions for hybrid cloud platforms, including on-prem, off-prem, and dedicated cloud environments, in collaboration with client representatives.

Build Migration Strategy: Lead the team in building migration strategies based on value vs. effort, and prepare cost-benefit models and inputs to ROI analysis.

Collaborate with Vendors/Partners: Lead discussions with migration vendors/partners to determine solution-based tools/vendors specialties, including what vendor/tool, when, why, and advantages.

Contribute to Migration Methodology: Significantly contribute to migration methodology and tailor methods to client environments and industries.

Deliver Solution Design: Lead the team in delivering migration solution designs, including effort estimation, costing, staffing, client negotiations, and tailoring solutions to meet client budgetary guidelines.

Hybrid Cloud Migration: Experience working with migration solutions for hybrid cloud platforms, including on-prem, off-prem, and dedicated cloud environments.

Migration Strategy Development: Exposure to building migration strategies based on value vs. effort, and preparing cost-benefit models and inputs to ROI analysis.

Vendor/Partner Collaboration: Experience working with migration vendors/partners to determine solution-based tools/vendors specialties.
