Location - Mumbai, India

As a Power BI Specialist, your main responsibilities will include understanding end user s needs, translating them into analytical models, creating interactive dashboards, reports, apps with Power BI, testing the deliverables, deploying the solution, and ensuring knowledge transfer to end users.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their data analysis needs.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Use Power Query for data transformation and manipulation.
- Write advanced DAX formulas for complex business calculations.
- Implement dimensional modelling (star schema) for productive data organization.
- Manage semantic models data refreshes.
- Implement Power BI Row Level Security (RLS) to provide data access based on user roles.
- Create and manage dataflows to automate data updates.
- Write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Organize backlog in the Jira ticketing tool.
- Write comprehensive documentation.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor of Engineering.
- 1-3 Years of relevant experience.

- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal is mandatory for this role.
- Proven international experience in a multi-cultural environment is mandatory for this role.
- Able to convert business requests into business requirements.

Technical skills

Mandatory:

- Proficiency with Power Query.
- Proficiency with DAX.
- Proficiency with dimensional modelling (star schema).
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Proficiency with Power BI report development.
- Proficiency with Power BI dataset/semantic model development.

- Knowledge of Power BI Row Level Security.
