Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 application support for credit-card applications and related systems.
- Monitor production applications, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot application, batch, interface, and database-related incidents.
- Analyze Unix/Linux logs and perform basic shell scripting for support and automation.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, investigation, and issue resolution.
- Support FIS VisionPLUS modules and credit-card processing applications.
- Investigate transaction failures, batch failures, file-processing issues, and interface problems.
- Coordinate with development, database, infrastructure, and business teams for complex issues.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Participate in production deployments, release validation, and post-deployment checks.
- Prepare support documentation, knowledge articles,



and incident RCA reports.
- Participate in rotational/on-call support when required.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Practical experience with FIS VisionPLUS or equivalent credit-card processing platforms.
- Understanding of credit-card lifecycle and transaction processing.
- Experience troubleshooting production applications and analyzing logs.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
- Good understanding of batch processing, scheduling, file handling, and system interfaces.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in banking, financial services, or credit-card domain.
- Knowledge of VisionPLUS modules such as CMS, TRAMS, VMX, and/or CDM.
- Experience with incident-management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Exposure to application monitoring tools and job schedulers.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience with APIs, file-based interfaces, and payment/transaction systems.
