We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Web and Mobile Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript, Appium, and automation framework development. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions to improve product quality and accelerate release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
- Create and execute mobile automation scripts using Appium.
- Automate API testing and validate backend services.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test execution results and report defects effectively.
- Collaborate with developers,
product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint quality goals.
- Mentor junior team members and drive automation best practices.
Must Have
- 4-7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Playwright with TypeScript.
- Solid experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Good understanding of API automation testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD implementation.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
