Role Purpose

Hiring highly motivated and experienced Finished Goods Sourcing Specialist with expertise in Door Hardware products to manage end-to-end sourcing activities, supplier development, cost optimization, and procurement planning. The ideal candidate should possess strong supplier management skills, market intelligence, negotiation capabilities, and a deep understanding of door hardware products including locks, hinges, handles, door closers, accessories, and architectural hardware.

Role & responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

- Manage end-to-end sourcing of finished goods related to door hardware products.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard current domestic and international suppliers.
- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply and competitive pricing.
- Execute RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Ensure timely procurement based on demand forecasts and inventory requirements.

Supplier Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service.
- Drive supplier development initiatives to improve capabilities and performance.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Cost Optimization

- Lead cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Benchmark competitor pricing and market trends.




- Identify alternate sourcing opportunities to improve margins.
- Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, and annual cost-saving projects.

Inventory & Planning Coordination

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Support demand planning and replenishment activities.

Quality & Compliance

- Work closely with Quality teams to ensure sourced products meet specifications and standards.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate product approvals, certifications, and vendor audits.

Market Intelligence

- Track industry trends, commodity price movements, and supplier landscape.
- Identify emerging sourcing opportunities and innovative product offerings.
- Monitor competitor products and sourcing strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: B.E Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical • 5-8 years of sourcing/procurement experience in Door Hardware, Architectural Hardware, Building Materials, or Construction Hardware industry. Please confirm on the highlighted one • Strong knowledge of finished goods sourcing, supplier development, and procurement processes.
