Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage merchandising activities for sportswear/athleisure products, including planning, costing, pricing, sourcing, and product development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to source high-quality fabrics at competitive prices.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of projects.
- Analyze sales data to optimize inventory management and improve profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6-10 years of experience in apparel merchandising or a related field (sportswear/athleisure preferred).
- B.Tech degree from a reputed institution (Computers or Textiles).
- Solid understanding of fabric sourcing, material selection, price negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of merchandising principles, including costing and budgeting.
