We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer to support enterprise-level projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend testing, database validation along with experience in integration and functional testing across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Backend Testing on databases using SQL queries
- Execute Database Testing and Data Validation
- Conduct Integration Testing across multiple systems and applications
- Perform Functional and Regression Testing of application features
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings
- Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and systems as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Backend Testing using POSTMAN)
- Strong hands-on experience in Backend and Database Testing
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing
- Experience in Integration and System Testing
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC processes
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Automation Testing tools/frameworks
- Knowledge of API Testing (Postman/REST APIs)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
