Roles & responsibilities -
Prepare and review complex financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements.
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Oversee tax compliance activities including BAS, IAS, FBT, and income tax returns.
Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making and business improvement.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and fostering a team-oriented team environment.
Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
