Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for the Sony Pictures project in Kodambakkam, Chennai.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support and be capable of providing L1/L2 technical support to end users.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to end users.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and provide hands-on support for Mac/macOS systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Resolve issues related to printers, network connectivity, email, and other IT peripherals.
- Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.




- Coordinate with relevant teams for escalated issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and end-user support.

Mandatory Skills

- 3+ years of Desktop Support experience.
- Hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support – Mandatory.
- Good knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle end-user issues effectively.

Preferred Candidates

- Immediate joiners / candidates serving a short notice period.
- Candidates available to work from Kodambakkam, Chennai.
- Candidates with solid Windows + Mac/macOS Support experience.
- Candidates with prior experience supporting enterprise/corporate users.
