About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain books of accounts (bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations) for client entities on a regular basis.
2. Handle UAE VAT compliance return filing, VAT reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy as per FTA regulations.
3. Assist in finalisation of financial statements, including drafting balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and supporting schedules.
4. Coordinate with clients to collect data/documents and resolve accounting queries in a timely manner.
5. Support senior team members during audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
