Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager with robust Full Stack development expertise and a passion for building secure, scalable, and business-critical applications. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of influencing product direction, mentoring engineering teams, and partnering effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, career development planning, and talent management activities.
- Drive recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution across the full software development lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Security, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Encourage open discussion, constructive challenge,



and informed decision-making within the team.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality standards, security requirements, accessibility standards, and operational excellence.
- Support production applications, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and code quality standards.
- Provide leadership and support during critical production incidents, including availability outside core business hours when required.

Required Technical Skills

- Java Development: Spring Boot
- Frontend Development: Angular, TypeScript
- API Development Management: Apigee or similar API Gateway platforms
- Database Technologies: Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda/Lambda@Edge, EFS, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, etc.)
- Containerization Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD: Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Monitoring Observability: New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools
- Application Security: Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, or similar security platforms
