Responsibilities:

- Functional and end-to-end testing of data products.
- Validation of data publishing processes and data transformations.
- Root cause analysis of data issues.
- Quality assurance for operational, development, and data-related initiatives.
- Vendor onboarding data validation and customer data delivery checks.
- Test newly developed code in a variety of programming languages (primarily python, SQL, bash, and java)
- Build and perform integration tests
- Work closely with related groups to ensure business continuity
- Work as a member of one or more agile teams, using lean principles and SCRUM methodology

Required Skills:

- Robust SQL proficiency with hands-on querying experience.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.




- Working knowledge of Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Experience with hosted environments, AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers preferred
- Understanding of databases and data validation concepts.
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and design test approaches.

Preferred Background:

- Engineering or technical background.
- Experience working with data-focused QA functions.
- Exposure to functional testing and regression testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
