Role Title - Cloud WAF Engineer (GCP)

Looking for a Cyber professional with solid experience in Web Application Security, WAF administration, and cloud security, who can grow into a WAF SME across multiple platforms including Google Cloud (GCP), AWS, Azure, F5, Akamai, ModSecurity, and other enterprise WAF solutions.

Must-Have Technical Skills

WAF & Web Security

- Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementation, configuration, and tuning
- Experience with any one cloud platform:
- Google Cloud Armor (GCP WAF)
- AWS WAF
- Azure WAF

- Custom WAF rule creation and optimization
- False positive/false negative tuning
- Rate limiting and bot protection

Security & Incident Handling

- Strong knowledge of:
- OWASP Top 10
- Web application attack techniques
- Threat mitigation strategies

- Security log analysis
- SOC/CSIRT background
- Incident response involving WAF-related threats

Cloud & DevSecOps





- GCP security services
- Cloud networking concepts
- DevSecOps pipeline support and automation
- Version control and deployment management

Additional Technical Areas

- HTTPS termination and SSL/TLS certificate management
- Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM)
- Logging, monitoring, and reporting
- Network troubleshooting and connectivity management
- Service management processes
