Role & responsibilities

- Translate complex business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and services
- Own the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to production deployment
- Build high-quality, extensible, and maintainable applications while ensuring timely delivery
- Drive adoption and evolution of engineering best practices, coding standards, and development tools
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Business teams to deliver efficient solutions
- Lead architecture and design discussions and provide end-to-end technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in product, process, and technology
- Manage and participate in bug triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
- Monitor product quality, performance, and delivery metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging technologies, open-source frameworks, and industry trends




- Contribute to reusable frameworks, standards, and solution methodologies.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns
- Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with SOA / microservices architecture and N-tier application development
- Good understanding of database design, SQL optimization, and development using MySQL / MariaDB
- Experience with messaging and queueing platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-optimization skills.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
