About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect / Senior Solution Architect / Application Architect / Architecture Lead to establish and develop the Enterprise Architecture capability within a growing multi-business organisation.

This is a hands-on function-building role responsible for defining how business capabilities, enterprise applications, data, integrations and technology platforms fit together into a scalable enterprise environment.

We are particularly interested in strong architects who have worked within mature technology environments but are ready to take broader ownership of Enterprise Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop current-state and target-state enterprise architecture.
- Map business capabilities to technology capabilities.
- Establish enterprise architecture principles and standards.
- Map the enterprise application landscape.
- Develop application and technology roadmaps.
- Define application architecture.
- Define integration architecture.
- Support enterprise data architecture.
- Define systems of record.
- Design application and data flows.
- Define API and integration requirements.
- Identify architecture gaps and application duplication.
- Establish architecture governance.
- Support technology and software selection.
- Participate in RFI / RFP and vendor evaluation.
- Evaluate platforms for scalability and integration.
- Support ERP and enterprise-system implementations.
- Work with technology vendors and implementation partners.
- Translate business requirements into technology architecture.
- Maintain architecture diagrams and documentation.
- Support architecture review and approval processes.

Must-Have Experience

Candidates must have:

- 69 years of overall technology experience.
- Hands-on architecture experience.
- Solution, application, integration or enterprise architecture experience.
- Experience designing solutions involving multiple enterprise applications.
- Enterprise systems implementation exposure.
- Application integration experience.
- API / integration understanding.
- Architecture diagram and documentation experience.
- Current-state / target-state architecture exposure.
- Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Exposure to ERP or other major enterprise platforms.
- Experience working with technical teams, vendors or implementation partners.

Mandatory Setup Experience

Candidates must have personally established, implemented,



transformed or materially contributed to building an Enterprise Architecture capability, including one or more of:

- Target-state architecture
- Architecture governance
- Application architecture
- Integration architecture
- Technology roadmaps
- Systems-of-record design
- Architecture standards
- Architecture review processes

Candidates whose experience is limited to working inside an already-designed architecture with no meaningful architecture ownership may not be suitable.

Preferred Experience

Experience within a scaled organisation of 1,000+ employees is strongly preferred.

Experience across every platform is not required.

TOGAF, ArchiMate, Azure, AWS or relevant architecture certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines exposure to a mature enterprise technology setting with practical experience helping build, transform or implement enterprise architecture.

A strong Senior Solution Architect, Application Architect or Architecture Lead ready to step into broader Enterprise Architecture ownership would be an excellent fit.
