Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring / Spring Boot.

- Implement event-driven and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.

- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for effective data storage and retrieval.

- Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to build high-performance applications.

Frontend Development

- Develop and maintain frontend components using AngularJS.

AI Integration

- Integrate AI/ML-based features such as intelligent recommendations, data analysis, or automation where applicable.

- Collaborate with data and AI teams to consume AI models or APIs within applications.

Engineering Practices DevOps

- Manage source code using Git and follow established coding best practices.

- Participate in DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, builds, and deployments.

- Analyse, debug, and resolve application issues.

Collaboration

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

Technical - Core

- Java (Core and advanced concepts), Spring / Spring Boot.

- Apache Kafka for event-driven and streaming architectures.

- Relational databases (e.g. MySQL,



Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).

- Multithreading and concurrency.

- AngularJS for frontend component development.

- Git for version control.

- CI/CD tooling and DevOps fundamentals.

Technical - Good to Have

- Practical exposure to AI/ML APIs, model integration, or automation use cases.

- Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Behavioural

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
