The company focuses on developing, manufacturing and supplying waste-management equipment and solutions, including waste bins, containers, garbage trucks, garbage compactors and related products.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, fabricated parts, spare parts, consumables and other materials required for waste-management equipment manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors, particularly within the solid waste management, automobile, fabrication, engineering and manufacturing ecosystem.
- Source materials based on quality, cost, technical specifications and delivery timelines.
- Obtain and compare RFQs/quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, Finance and other departments to fulfil procurement requirements.
- Monitor open POs, pending deliveries, supplier commitments and material availability.
- Maintain vendor records, quotation comparisons, purchase documentation and procurement MIS.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, quantity, delivery delays and material shortages.




- Support vendor development, cost reduction and inventory optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, approval procedures and required documentation.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchase / Sourcing / Supply Chain.
- Experience in Solid Waste Management, Waste Management Equipment, Manufacturing, Automotive, Engineering, Fabrication or Industrial Equipment will be preferred.
- Strong vendor negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Good understanding of industrial components, raw materials, fabrication items, mechanical/electrical components and spare parts will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, purchase documentation and ERP/procurement systems.
- Robust communication, analytical and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and procurement environment.
