EMS/NMS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EMS/NMS Developer with strong expertise in Java-based application development, network management systems, communication protocols and Linux environments. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting EMS/NMS products while working closely with customers and internal technical teams to resolve product and field-level issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain EMS/NMS applications and network management products.
- Develop and enhance applications using Core Java, Spring Boot and web technologies.
- Work on product enhancements, defect fixing, performance optimization and feature development.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex customer and field issues and provide timely technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product releases, deployments and issue resolution.
- Implement automation initiatives to improve product quality, stability and operational efficiency.
- Work with network protocols and interfaces used in telecom/network management environments.
- Develop and maintain database-driven applications and optimize application performance.
- Support application deployment, configuration and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
- Participate in product deployment, testing, production support and maintenance activities.




- Perform technical analysis using network troubleshooting tools wherever required.

- Understanding of IP networking, ports and packet communication
- Hands-on experience with Tcpdump and Wireshark
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) concepts
- Experience supporting product deployment and production environments
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
- Exposure to telecom/networking domain is an added advantage

Candidate Profile

- 5-8 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to independently investigate technical issues and identify root causes.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a product development and support setting will be preferred.
- Candidates currently based in Bangalore.
