- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop manufacturing plans.
- Oversee sheet metal fabrication operations including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Support the selection and maintenance of fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and provide technical guidance to shop floor personnel.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw materials and subcontracted processes if required.
