About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Australia Study Counselor who has previously worked with a study abroad consultancy or education agency and has strong knowledge of the Australian education system.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling students, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable Australian institutions and courses, and supporting students throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students interested in studying in Australia and understand their academic, financial, and career objectives.
- Provide accurate guidance on Australian universities, colleges, courses, entry requirements, tuition fees, and intakes.
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses and institutions.
- Handle student enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and face-to-face counseling.
- Guide students through the complete application and admission process.
- Prepare, verify, and submit student applications and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Australian universities, colleges, and education providers for admissions and offers.
- Follow up with students regarding applications, offers, payments, and required documentation.
- Explain admission requirements, course structures, fees, scholarships, and available pathways.




- Maintain accurate records of student applications and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Stay updated with changes in Australian education policies, university requirements, courses, and intakes.
- Work closely with the admissions and visa teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Meet individual counselling, application, and enrollment targets.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience as a Study Abroad Counselor/Education Counselor, preferably with an agency specializing in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of Australian universities, TAFEs, colleges, VET courses, ELICOS, and higher education pathways.
- Good understanding of Australian admission processes and entry requirements.
- Experience handling student applications from enquiry to admission.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid counseling, convincing, and follow-up abilities.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with targets and manage multiple student applications simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, email, and online communication platforms.

Preferred

- Previous experience working directly with Australian universities or education providers.
- Experience with Australian student admission and application portals.
- Knowledge of different Australian intakes and course pathways.
- Relevant education counseling or international education certifications will be an advantage.
