- Receive, inspect, and store engineering spares, consumables, and materials as per SOPs.
- Maintain proper storage conditions, labelling, and identification for easy retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions to avoid stockouts.
- Ensure adherence to FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Experience in SAP-MM module is Mandatory
2. Inventory Control & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP / SAP / store management systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verification.
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock ledgers.
- Track minimum and maximum stock levels for critical spares.
3. Coordination & Procurement Support:
- Liaise with the Purchase / Procurement department for timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with the Engineering team to understand requirements of critical spares and consumables.
- Follow up with vendors for delivery timelines.

- Support cost reduction initiatives by monitoring consumption trends.
- Identify slow-moving / obsolete items and propose for disposal / write-off as per policy.
- Suggest process improvements in store handling and inventory management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of engineering spares, consumables, and maintenance materials used in pharma API plants.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and ERP/SAP systems.
- Familiar with cGMP, GDP, EHS, and audit requirements in the pharma sector.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / Any Graduate with Science background.
- 3-5 years of experience in Engineering Stores in an API / Pharma / Chemical / Process industry.
