Role & responsibilities
1. Dedicated and safety-focused Safety Officer with experience in manufacturing and industrial environments, skilled in implementing HSE policies, conducting workplace inspections, hazard identification, risk assessment and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety requirements. Experienced in monitoring production and maintenance activities, machine safety, LOTO, work permits, material handling, lifting operations, welding, gas cutting, work at height and emergency preparedness. Proficient in conducting safety induction, toolbox talks, safety audits, incident investigations and corrective action follow-up. Strong ability to coordinate with production, maintenance, engineering and contractor teams to promote secure working practices, reduce workplace risks and maintain a strong Zero Accident / Zero Harm safety culture.
