Endeavor Academy is hiring PhD-level Biology experts to review and validate advanced

biology questions, answers and worked solutions. This is freelance, fully remote and paid

hourly, with an immediate start. You keep your current academic or research role.

WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES

- Review a pre-written PhD-level biology question together with its final answer and its

step-by-step worked solution.

- Assess each one for scientific accuracy against current biology knowledge, clarity and

absence of ambiguity, and whether the difficulty is genuinely PhD level.

- Check that the answer is correct, the units are right, and every step of the reasoning

actually supports it.

- Where any part is wrong, correct it yourself and note briefly what the error was and why

your correction is right.

- Work to a provided validation rubric, in a web-based review tool. Full guidelines and

training are provided.

Think of it as reviewing a doctoral student's work: they have posed a question, attempted an

answer and shown their working. Your job is to decide whether it holds up, and to fix it if

it does not.

ELIGIBILITY - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

- PhD in Biology or a life-science discipline: completed, thesis submitted, or currently

pursuing. Postgraduate-only candidates cannot be considered for this project.

- H-index is NOT required. Publication count is not a criterion.

- Depth in at least one of: Molecular Biology, Physiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry,

Genetics, Ecology, Population Genetics, Microbiology.





- Able to spot a subtle scientific error and explain in clear written English why it is wrong.

- Comfortable with quantitative biology and scientific notation. Familiarity with LaTeX is an

advantage - if you wrote your thesis or papers in LaTeX you will be comfortable here.

- Willing to sign an NDA.

SIGNIFICANT

This is a human expert review project. Using ChatGPT, Gemini or any other AI tool to produce

your work is strictly prohibited, and sharing project content with an AI model breaches

confidentiality. Anyone found using AI is removed from the project immediately. Please apply

only if you are comfortable working entirely from your own subject expertise.

ENGAGEMENT

- Rate: INR 400 per hour.

- Freelance contract, 100% remote, work from anywhere in India.

- Minimum 4 hours per day, with flexibility to work additional hours.

- Indicative output 50-100 items per day, depending on complexity.

- Duration: approximately 1 month, with an immediate start.

- Full availability across the project duration is preferred.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Application and CV screening.

2. A short assessment, approximately 30-60 minutes.

3. Induction, guidelines and tool training, then your first batch.
