Purified Water System Operator

Location: Pune
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc.
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in Purified Water System Operations

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor Purified Water Systems safely and efficiently in accordance with approved SOPs, operating procedures, and defined process parameters.
- Monitor and record parameters related to pre-treatment, water generation, storage, distribution, utilities, and feed water systems.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, operational records, chemical consumption records, preventive maintenance (PM) records, and QA-related documentation.
- Monitor system performance and identify operational abnormalities; perform basic troubleshooting and escalate critical issues to the concerned team.
- Monitor and verify instrument and sensor calibration status and coordinate with QC teams for water sampling and analysis.
- Carry out basic maintenance activities, including leakage identification and rectification, as per defined procedures and safety requirements.
- Support commissioning, operation, and customer/site activities related to purified water systems as required.




- Participate in CN/customer training programs and support operator competency development and training activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, SOP, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Manage assigned shift operations, handovers, contingency arrangements, and site administration activities.
- Coordinate with Service, Quality, Engineering, and Customer teams to ensure smooth and reliable system operation.
- Travel and work at customer sites across PAN India as per business and project requirements.

Key Skills

- Basic understanding of Purified Water Treatment Systems and their unit operations.
- Knowledge of RO, EDI/DM, UV, Ozone, UF, storage & distribution systems, and associated utilities.
- Ability to understand P&IDs;, operating parameters, log sheets, and SOPs.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Positive documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and travel across PAN India.
