Job Title: Senior Executive – Export Documentation & EIA Liaison (Seafood)

Role Overview

Manage end-to-end export documentation, statutory certifications, and regulatory liaisons for frozen seafood shipments. The role serves as the central operational bridge connecting the merchant exporter entity, contracted EIC-approved processing factories (Aroor/Chandiroor/Alappuzha belt), Export Inspection Agency (EIA) Kochi, MPEDA, Custom House Agents (CHA), and port logistics at ICTT Vallarpadam.

Key Responsibilities

- EIA / EIC Regulatory Operations:
- Handle the EIC portal for consignment-wise inspection requests, sampling scheduling, Certificate for Export (CFE) tracking, and e-Health Certificate generation.
- Ensure CFEs issued by contracted packer establishments are submitted and countersigned by EIA Kochi prior to container loading.
- Coordinate physical visits with EIA Technical Officers for verification of batch numbers, production codes, sensory analysis, and packaging integrity.
- Health & Destination-Specific Certifications:
- Prepare and file destination-specific certificates: EU TRACES NT health certificates, US FDA Prior Notice and SIMP logs, China GACC registration validations, Japan health attestations, and non-radioactivity/mercury test reports.
- Procure Preferential and Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (COO) through the DGFT/EIC trade portals.




- Production & QA Audit Reconciliation:
- Audit pre-shipment documentation from the processing factory: organoleptic logs, microbiology reports (Salmonella, Vibrio, Listeria), antibiotic residue sheets (AOZ, AMOZ, Chloramphenicol), and heavy metal lab certificates.
- Ensure batch details across commercial invoices, packing lists, processor bills, and EIA certificates match without discrepancies.
- Customs, Banking & Cold-Chain Shipping:
- Draft and verify Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills (ICEGATE), VGM (Verified Gross Mass), and Bill of Lading (BL) shipping instructions.
- Ensure reefer container set-points (-18°C or below), genset protocols, and data logger serial numbers are documented correctly.
- Compile post-shipment documentation sets strictly aligned with Letter of Credit (LC) terms for bank submission and e-BRC / EDPMS realization.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Experience: 3–6 years of dedicated export documentation experience in frozen seafood (merchant exporter or manufacturing unit).
- Regional Knowledge: Established working familiarity with EIA Kochi (Panampilly Nagar), MPEDA Kochi, and key seafood processing belts in Aroor/Alappuzha.
- Technical Systems: Proficiency in EIC online portals, ICEGATE, DGFT COO portal, and shipping line reefer booking portals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Foreign Trade, or Fisheries Science/Food Technology.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
