Job Summary

Manage and execute VMware HCX migration projects, ensuring seamless workload migration across on-premises and cloud environments while maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing VMware infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute VMware HCX migrations to cloud environments. Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtual infrastructure. Manage VMware networking, storage, and security components. Monitor performance, capacity, and infrastructure health. Troubleshoot and resolve VMware/HCX-related issues. Collaborate with cloud, network, and infrastructure teams. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Skill Requirements

Solid experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration. Hands-on expertise in VMware HCX migrations.



Knowledge of VMware vSAN, NSX, networking, and storage concepts. Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerCLI, Python). Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Other Requirements

Experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) preferred. Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). VMware certifications (VCP/VCAP) preferred. Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and logging solutions. Ability to work independently and support hybrid cloud environments.
