Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Perform manual and automated testing across API, web (frontend), and backend layers, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance.
- Validate data integrity using SQL queries — verifying records, joins, and backend state after operations.
- Implement and maintain automated testing solutions using tools such as Rest Assured.
- Document and evaluate test results, identify issues, and manage defect tracking.
- Ensure traceability between test cases, test results, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an agile environment.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on quality goals and deliverables.

Requirements




Must Have:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a QA role with a strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Solid skills in manual testing — functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured.
- Robust SQL skills — ability to write queries (joins, filters, aggregations) to validate backend data.
- Frontend/web testing experience — validating UI functionality, cross-browser behavior, and user flows.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.

Good to Have:

- Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- API automation experience with Rest Assured or similar.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of agile and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
