Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of equipment, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, plumbing, HVAC and other facility-related requirements across our restaurant outlets.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities.
- Inspect and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints from outlets on time.
- Coordinate with external technicians, contractors and service providers when required.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and identify potential breakdowns.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs and service schedules.
- Prepare and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all outlets.
- Ensure critical equipment is maintained to minimize operational downtime.
- Monitor the condition of kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, exhaust systems, burners, ovens, dishwashers and other appliances.
- Handle basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting.
- Monitor AMC/service contracts and coordinate scheduled servicing.
- Assist in identifying maintenance-related cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and as per company standards.
- Maintain adequate stock of essential spares, tools and maintenance materials.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requirements, including urgent outlet breakdowns.
- Coordinate with Operations and Outlet Managers to complete maintenance work without affecting business operations.




- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, fire and safety standards.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment will be preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple outlets and prioritize urgent maintenance requirements.
- Positive vendor and contractor coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergency requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, hospitality, commercial kitchen or facility maintenance will be an advantage.

- Reduction in equipment breakdowns and downtime.
- Timely resolution of maintenance complaints.
- Completion of preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintenance cost control.
- Proper maintenance records and documentation.
- Availability and reliability of critical restaurant equipment.
- Timely coordination and monitoring of AMC/service vendors.

Working Requirement

The candidate should be willing to travel between restaurant outlets, attend urgent breakdowns when required, and coordinate maintenance activities based on operational requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
