Job Summary

The Electrical Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the electrical maintenance team. This role oversees scheduled preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting, and compliance across industrial electrical equipment, including AC motors, distribution/control panels, transformers, air compressors, and backup diesel generators.

Key Responsibilities

- AC Motors & Drives: Supervise inspection, winding insulation testing (meggering), bearing lubrication/replacement, and alignment of low- and medium-voltage AC induction motors; troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters.
- Panels & Switchgear: Maintain LT/HT distribution panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), Power Control Centers (PCC), and control panels; inspect breakers (ACB, VCB, MCB), busbars, contactors, and relays.
- Transformers: Plan and monitor routine maintenance of distribution and power transformers, including oil testing (BDV, moisture), silica gel breathers, winding temperature monitoring, and bushing inspections.
- Air Compressors: Ensure electrical reliability of screw and reciprocating compressors, including motor current balancing,



pressure switch calibration, interlocking, and emergency trip mechanisms.
- Diesel Generators (DG Sets): Oversee DG maintenance, AMF (Auto Mains Failure) panels, synchronization controls, battery health checks, alternator testing, and load trial operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, arc flash precautions, statutory electrical safety norms, and proper grounding/earthing checks across the facility.
- Team Leadership & Reporting: Assign daily work orders to electrical technicians, maintain equipment logbooks, monitor MTTR/MTBF metrics, and manage critical electrical spares inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, processing, or large commercial facility, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
